#### Machine Learning on Udacity

- TensorFlow makes it possible to add Machine Learning to your app without the phd. And you can now learn all about it with [this new Udacity course](http://googleresearch.blogspot.com/2016/01/teach-yourself-deep-learning-with.html?utm_campaign=devshow_series_udacitydeep_012816&utm_source=medium&utm_medium=blog)!

#### Android

- It’s one of the most downloaded DJ apps in the world. After launching on Android, the platform became the largest contributor of business growth, with 50% of total revenue and more than 70% of new downloads coming from their Android users. Find out more with [this video](http://android-developers.blogspot.com/2016/01/android-developer-story-music-app.html?utm_campaign=devshow_series_androiddevstory_012816&utm_source=medium&utm_medium=blog).

#### Cross-platform development

- It’s now gotten a lot easier to share an app’s non-UI code between iPhone, iPad applications and Android and web versions of the same app using this new Google-authored, open-source compiler. Check out [the blog post](http://google-opensource.blogspot.com/2016/01/j2objc-10-release_21.html?utm_campaign=devshow_series_j2objc_012816&utm_source=medium&utm_medium=blog) for more.

#### Monetization

- Our good friends over at App Annie have launched their [2015 retrospective](http://blog.appannie.com/app-annie-2015-retrospective/?utm_campaign=coschedule&utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=appannie&utm_content=App%20Annie%202015%20Retrospective%20-%20Monetization%20Opens%20New%20Frontiers#sthash.mEBmXcGP.dpuf%22?utm_campaign=devshow_series_appannie_012816&utm_source=medium&utm_medium=blog), looking at the key trends from last year — including app monetization
- Learn the pros and cons of different app monetization models, how to choose the one that’s right for you, and considerations for implementation with [this new guide](http://googledevelopers.blogspot.com/2016/01/new-ebook-download-no-nonsense-guide-to.html?utm_campaign=devshow_series_appmonetization_012816&utm_source=medium&utm_medium=blog) from the AdMob team. Another in their no nonsense series for developers.

#### Training

- We recently passed [1 million students](http://googledevelopers.blogspot.com/2016/01/helping-1-million-students-build-better.html?utm_campaign=devshow_series_1millstudents_012816&utm_source=medium&utm_medium=blog) on the courses we built in partnership with Udacity. It’s a great time to join them in learning how to use technology to solve the world’s most pressing challenges.
